I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. I've been to way too many funerals for children that have lost their lives because of lack of treatment options. 


The time to make a difference is now. This is my 11th shave with St. Baldrick's and I would happily shave my head a million times because I love the children I'm shaving for. But the harsh reality is that if we don't do something NOW some of them won't be at next year's shave. Our Honored Kids have changed my life in ways I never thought possible and I will be forever grateful for them....I just wish it wasn't cancer that introduced us.


This year's shave is dedicated to Sara, Avery, Abby, Isla, Lauryn, Isla, and Sydney.
