I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.

For the past three years, I have been shaving my head not only to raise money for childhood cancer research but to honor Kyle Egan a student at my high school who lost his battle with cancer his senior year. I had the pleasure of getting to know Kyle during his senior year after joining a club I was a part of and even with the circumstances he had he was always smiling, laughing, and getting the good out of every situation. I will continue to shave my head every year in honor of Kyle and to help raise money for childhood cancer research until hopefully one day we can say "We conquered childhood cancers."

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures. Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
