I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My luxurious locks are coming off! I'm shipping them off to Locks of Love so that some adorable kid with cancer can make the perfect Darrell costume. But wait — there's more!

I'm hitting you folks up for some donations to help make sure that no poor kids will ever to have to dress up like me again. And here's the best part: The highest bidder will get the honor of actually shaving off my questionable coiffure on December 7th, turning me into a cue ball! (I'll post the amount to beat in the "Update Stream" tab.)

So let's go, People — this money's not for little old me. :-)

Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. You can also donate through me in person (if that's easier), and I'll pass it along for you. The winner is the person who has donated the most _total_ money (not the biggest single donation) by 7pm EST on December 5th. I'll post that and any future updates in the "Update Stream" tab.

There will be pictures and video of the event for those of you that won't be around to revel in person on the infamous day. But who knows — I might only show them to donors!

I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
