I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Here we go, year number nine. You've helped me help kids since I raised $750 in 2010. Since then you've help me raise over $27,000.  This year I want to push that total over $35,000 by raising $8,000. I know we can do it and I hope you'll help me by donating and spreading the word. There is a photo gallery at the bottom of this page. Send people a link and tell them to check out the stupid hair doo's this guy is giving himself to raise money for childhood cancer. Some of them will donate just like you have and we'll get $8,000 this year. I know we can do it.

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

For those that might wonder if the funds really help, the answer is yes. I was able to visit a research center here in Denver last year and talk to a group studying pediatric high-grade gliomas, the most common cause of death in childhood cancer. They are seeing success in their studies but made it clear that without funding from St Baldrick's they wouldn't be able to continue their work.
