I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Cancer has impacted me personally over the years from watching loved ones battle for their lives, losing loved ones and watching others I know lose their loved ones. This is an awful disease that has impacted so many lives. It would seem almost impossible to not know someone or their loved one who has battled with cancer in some way. This is just a very small way that I can try and raise some money collectively with others but also raise awareness specifically to childhood cancer research. This is where you come in....

Take a minute to meditate on the God who created this vast universe. What follows are some of the attributes of GOD. God is ALL POWERFUL, ALL KNOWING, INVISIBLE, IMMORTAL, and ETERNAL. He is a RIGHTEOUS GOD, who is PERFECT and PURE; He lives in unapproachable light. This God created us to represent Him on earth. We were made to put His character on display, to live the way God would if He were walking on the earth. But we haven’t...any of us. God always tells the truth, but we don’t; God is the owner of all He’s made, but we’ve stolen; God perfectly values marriage and family, but we don’t. Even what seem like the smallest lies or lustful thoughts betray us as sinful. So here’s the dilemma we face: God cannot look on sin favorably and he can’t overlook it willfully. So we will have to give an account. (see Habakkuk 1:13 and Hebrews 9:27 for more.)"
The punishment that God has prepared for those who have sinned against Him is ETERNITY in the lake of fire (Revelation 20:11-15). What a fearful thought!
But here is the Good news (the Gospel)! This Creator entered into His very creation and became the God-man Jesus Christ. Though Jesus was innocent (1 Peter 2:22), He shed his blood on the cross to reconcile infinitely sinful man to infinitely Holy God (2 Corinthians 5:19). By His death He satisfied the wrath of God, and made full payment for the sins of all who repent and place their trust in Him alone. Jesus was buried and on the third day He came walking out of that tomb; the risen, living, victorious Savior (1 Corinthians 15:3-5). The God who created the Milky Way sent Jesus to save you because He is COMPASSIONATE, MERCIFUL and full of ABOUNDING LOVE (Exodus 34:6-7: John 3:16).
To be saved you must REPENT (have a change of mind, turn from your SIN - Acts 3:19) and believe the GOSPEL (trusting in CHRIST alone to be saved - Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-10). Turn to Him right now, while he has given you time: there is no guarantee of tomorrow.
