I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives. And though I’ve shaved for 2021, we’re not finished yet. Read on!

See below for some more general information, but for me this is also personal. My dad, Father Peter Smith, is a childhood and adult cancer survivor. My being here at all, enjoying life and a family, is a sheer miracle. My friends and their children are champions at living life with and for some AFTER cancer.

This gives me such a huge dose of gratitude to be able to contribute in some small way.

Special for 2021, these pages now come with milestones on the way to fundraising goals... and the more we raise together, the farther I will run and ride.

Please check it out and help push the limits on Conquering Kids Cancer as well as kicking me out into the trails. What a great Win-Win, and we are all in it together!

Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.

Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
