Why am I shaving my head with St. Baldrick’s? Because your donation “on my head” will actually save lives.
Kids with cancer need our support now more than ever. St. Baldrick’s is the largest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants, and the pandemic has slashed donations, slowing down the progress to find cures.
Cancer kills more of our kids than any other disease. Research can change that, and I don’t want to let these kids down. Can you help? Thank you so much!
September is childhood cancer awareness month. October is Autumns birthday month where I have started my own tradition of changing my hair in her honor. This year I’m doing something extra special where I will be following in my sisters footsteps by shaving my head on October 2nd.
As many people know Autumn was a very unique individual and obviously so special to me. Her senior year she chose to shave her head for St. Baldricks and now it’s my turn. I learned so much from her; the most sacred lessons being her acts of kindness selflessness and compassion.
