I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research
I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So as David was dying he asked me to do something about it by raising money for cures. He died on February 10, 2011. My birthday is February 13th. Each year I struggle with this month but work to find more joy than grief as the time passes. I will never forget the power we all felt when David spoke at that first event and asked me to shave. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. $8 for how many years he has been gone. $19 for how old he would be this year. $47 for my birthday years. $10 the age he was when he died. Or any amount that is meaningful to you. It is deeply appreciated as we continue to honor David's final wish - to find cures for all kids with cancer. Thank you!!!
