I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NPFD

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: NPFD

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

As many of you have followed my journey here in Alaska you have learned how truly special this event and organization is to me. My sister and I have worked together over the years to raise money and provide assistance to making sure this event is everything that it can be.

With a very heavy heart I have to say that this will be my last year participation with the F.O.O.L.S. This brotherhood of fire fighters has been one of my greatest journeys so this years event is bitter sweet. After this years event I will go back to growing my hair out and making yearly donations to Children With Hair loss and if I can find an event in our new location I will register with the St. Baldricks event as a volunteer.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
