I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Porter Family

It’s that time of year again! On February 27th, several of my family members & I will be Braving the Shave for St. Baldrick's -- although I don’t consider having my head shaved as “being brave." The kids that benefit from the funds raised by this wonderful event are the brave ones, as are their parents. Since my 1st post 6 years ago, my family has been blessed with 6 more beautiful, healthy grandkids. I can’t think of a better reason to keep doing this. Please help if you can.

My Roles:

  • Shavee
  • Fundraising Participant
  • Team Captain

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
