What could possibly be more important than saving the life of a child? The kids I am honoring at the bottom of this page? I have had the blessing of knowing them. Scroll down and take a look at their stories.
While Austin has beat his cancer and has grown to be a such a kind, caring man (ahh! makes me feel old saying that!), I know he is still unpacking a lot of what he went through as a child (so is his strong mama!). He will have to be followed throughout his life because the treatments kids go through can really wreak havoc and long term side effects are still being discovered!
Our sweet, little Taylor blessed the world with only a few short years of his life. He gave hope and love to all surrounding him, even on his toughest and darkest of days. He always, always had a smile every time I saw him. He made us all feel like we could take on the world even though he was fighting an uphill battle of his own.
Help me support St. Baldrick's so we can have more kids make it through the tough treatments their little bodies go through. Help me support St. Baldrick's so maybe we can find better treatments that won't cause terrible side effects.
During the pandemic, donations have been down sharply, which is a big deal since the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government supporter of childhood cancer research grants.
I want to make sure kids know we care. I want more research to save lives. This is my eighth year and many have supported me every one of those years! If you haven't yet, know that even $5 helps. Please, let this be the year you consider donating. Thank you!
