I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Another year has passed and I'm glad to be part of this great fundraiser yet again and proud to be an ambassador for it for the 5th time. 


For those who don't really know why I am doing this - I work as first medical responder and the majority of my patients are kids, pre-teens due to the work environment I am in. 

Their well being means a lot to me and I'm happy to be there for them when they skin their knees, their tummy hurts, they are feeling dizzy or any other health and well being issue. 


Sadly I can't be there for all the "boo-boos"  and I'm glad to see that St. Baldrick's exists to support funding for cancer research so that care and support can be given to those in need fighting cancer. Giving me a chance to indirectly help there, too. 


And so can you - please use this online donation page if you could, call the phone number, mail in your donation or when you see me roving, stop me on my tracks and I'd be happy submit your contribution for you, anonymously or not. 

You can also join me on the big day (and donate there) when I proudly will go on a stage and lose my hair to show my compassion for those who loose them during their treatment.

Judy, Cherie, this one's also for you - you have been brave warriors who showed strength and determination but sadly lost a fight. There's not a single day when I get reminded of you, think of you when I am at work.
