I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: CCP

For the 5th and final time now, I'm shaving my head to stand in solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment, while raising critical funds for childhood cancer research! I actually helped form this event at Midwestern and would greatly appreciate any donations you can give as well as support at the event.

I have been blessed to not have a family member diagnosed with cancer. None of my best friends have ever had cancer either. However, I have seen my best friends been affected by cancer in some way or another. Seeing my best friends in pain are images and feelings that I can never get out of my mind. Therefore, I try my hardest to make an impact, no matter how small or big. We never know what the future holds. I have seen firsthand how cancer can impact our society by observing my friends, and now I am seeing it affect my patients in the pharmacy. One of my bosses unfortunately also lost the war with cancer. He was a great man, and he taught me a lot about to help others. We are all aware that there are many organizations based on helping people with cancer. This foundation specifies in helping children. If it is anyone that needs our support and help, it's the children. They are our future. Please join me in helping these children. Who knows, maybe one of these cancer-surviving children may find a cure to cancer. Let's give them the hope and chance they deserve.

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
