I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Gruzs Girls

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Gruzs Girls

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!

A couple of months ago my seven year old daughter, Norah, came to me and told me that she wanted to donate her hair like she had done in the past but this time she wanted to do more. Norah explained that she wanted to have her head shaved after they took as much hair as they could and she wanted to participate in a St. Baldrick's event. She then gave me one of her sweet Nori smiles and said that she would love to have a team and with that I decided that we would go on this journey together.

There are so many reasons that this journey is important to us. Cancer has touched our lives and we have lost people that we know and love. Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
