I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head with St. Baldrick's to raise money and help conquer kids' cancers! Every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive.


I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments for kids.


This is my fifth year doing St. Baldrick's. Over the past four times I have done this I have raised over $45,000 for childhood cancer research. I am aiming to raise more than $5,000 this year. The reason I do St. Baldrick's every year is because I don’t mind having my head shaved and if I can shave my head while also raising money and awareness to fund childhood cancer research, then I will do that. Recently I had a Bar Mitzvah, and I am going to be donating 10% of all the money I received to St. Baldrick's. Also recently my Grandpa died of brain cancer so I am more determined to raise money to make sure the same thing doesn’t happen to kids.
