I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

This will be Dugan’s 3rd year shaving his head for St. Baldrick’s!  He has been a top earner both years raising over $3500.00 total.  This is all thanks to our amazing family and friends!

Our family has seen first hand the importance and the impact that the St. Baldricks foundation makes for children with cancer. We got involved with St. Baldrick’s 3 years ago after my 4 year old nephew Eli became a patient at St. Jude.  He underwent two surgeries to remove a volleyball size tumor in his abdomen.   He continues to go to St. Jude for check-ups and has been doing incredible ever since!  He just had a check up at St. Jude in February and we are so happy to find out that all his scans look good!

There are no words to describe Eli and Dugan’s relationship, they are cousins and best friends.  It amazes me how Dugan understands what Eli has gone through, and by raising money he can help him and other kids with cancer.  Last year Eli got to go onstage and shave Dugan’s head himself!  It’s a fun event for our family and a time for our family to reflect and give back.

Dugan also does this event to honor the memory of his friend Mya's big sister Lily, who touched the lives of so many!

We appreciate all the donations that were given in 2016 and 2017 and we thank you for considering donating for 2018!

Now we need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
