I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: KNUCKLEHEADS

Alas, I reached my personal goal of a thousand bucks thanks to a donatioon from my coworker, Srikanth Kurkal. The Knuckleheads reached our goal of $20,000 and I know Billy Edwards still hasn't been credited with $2600 he and his school, Windson Farms collected for a "Wear Your PJs to School Day" promotion. O'Loughlin's is close to the $60,000 goal but I know we made it with all of the additional donations collected at the event that haven't been credited yet. And, it's not too late to support the cause, just click on my "Make a Donation" button. Thanks again everyone!!!!!!!! Well, we had a great event and luckily, no one offered up $100 or more to shave off the goatee because I would have done. It was great seeing Gwen Philpott-Marshman there, we went to school together from 1 - 12 and I had not seen her since 12th grade, 1973! Thanks to some late donations, I'm getting close to the $1000 goal I set. The $53000+ total for the O's event doesn't include checks and cash turned in at the event and the additional fundraising that went on at the event. We will top that $60,000 goal easily. Thanks to everyone who participated and donated, it was awesome!

24 hours to go before the shaves! O'Loughlin's participants have raised $43,000, almost 2/3 of the way to our $60,000 goal! Our Knuckleheads team has raise $16,636, 0ver 80% of our $20,000 goal (which our draconion leader Capt Kilowatt increased us to)! I have only hit $560 of that, less than 60%, but I am undaunted! First, I want to thank those who have already contributed generously! Second, I want to make one next to last plea (you know there will be one more tomorrow) to those who haven't donated yet (either to me, a teammate, O's or another venue), please consider coming out to Griffin's Grill tonight to see my band, G3, and throw a few bucks into the St. Baldrick's bucket we'll have out, or come to O'Loughlin's on Sunday to support the shavees, enjoy the Rovers oerform, pitch in a few bucks to one of the mant fundraising events, or simply click on my donate now button. Every buck counts in the fight against children's cancer!

A day and a half to and haven't hit 50%, luckily my teammates are picking up the slack! Tomorrow night, Sat, Mar 3, 8:30 pm, G3 is playing Griffin's Grill in Arnold, MD. We're going to put a donation bucket and donation receipts out, beat the drum and see if we can't pick up some more money for the cause. Every year I say I'm going to start earlier, maybe next year. Chin up, I still have 42 hours to make this happen! So far, the O'Loughlin's event has already raised almost $40,000! Thanks to all of the wonderful donors who are joining us in this effort!

Yikes, a little over 3 days left, only 35%! Better beat the bushes and make this happen! If you know someone affected by children's cancer, you know how devastaing this cruel disease is! Join in with me, take a stand, come to O'Loughlin's Sunday and help out, click my "donate" button, alittle donation goes a long way!!!!!!! Let's make this happen!!!!!!!!

Well, a little over a week to go until the St. Baldrick's event and I've only hit 20% of my goal. Time to get busy! Please help me raise badly needed funds for this worthy cause!

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U. S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! Click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail.
