I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Dec.24 2011

My baby sister lost the fight so many before her and since fought.  She fought the good fight for two years.  I was blessed with the honor and privilege to be a bone marrow donor.  Once upon a time it was a horrible painful process. With the research and advancement in technology made the procedure much less painful and significantly increased the benefits.  What use to be a 50/50 shot in the dark, at the time turned into 2  transplants. The first transplant worked beyond the doctors wildest dreams ... for almost a year she was in complete remission.  An extra year to spend with her 2 children.

Raising a few extra dollars for childhood cancer research is the least we can do.

One day there will be a cure

Will you be a part of it?

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
