Why does Ben's Dad say you should sponsor Ben?

Benjamin lost his sister in May 2008 to a intestinal problem. He was only 4 years old. This has made me very aware of a reality that many kids don't learn about until they are adults. He has become a compassionate child.

When I, his Dad, shaved my head for St. Baldricks Foundation 3 years ago Ben asked Why. I explained that my friends Steve and Jannae asked me to do it to fight cancer in children. Their child Camden had died of Leukemia, a type of cancer. Ben said he didn't want any more kids to die. So he asked if he could do it too. Last March Ben shaved his head and raised $315 online and a total of $500 with cash donations.

In March 2012 Ben made a promise that he would not cut his hair for 1 year and that he would double his donations. Ben has kept the promise to not cut his hair. He even got an injury and needed stitches. Both his Mom and Dad at times tried to get him to get it trimmed but he was committed to his promise.

Imagine and 8 year old Boy who made a year long promise to do something to fight cancer. Benjamin is 9 years old now and he needs a hair cut!!!

Please help sponsor Ben in his fight against cancer.

Thank you!
