I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

When I shaved my head sophomore year, I realized what it meant to inspire an effort backed by other people. I raised 50 times the $50 donation I could have give myself and exceeded my goal by over $1,000. On May 8, I will go bald again. Today, I want to start making a difference again.

I'm shaving for the kids who don't know if they will ever see themselves with hair again, the kids who are afraid. Shaving my hair, which I know will grow back, is a small price to pay to promote St. Baldrick’s effort to find a cure. To honor and remember the struggle of cancer victims, and to support the fight against cancer, I will sacrifice. Your donation and support makes the determination to cure cancer a reality. Thank you for visiting and even considering donating. A donation of any size will help to save many lives.
