I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Two years ago, my son, Andrew and I shaved our heads to support St. Baldrick’s Foundation childhood cancer research with many of his Cub Scout friends. My son asked us to support this great cause again. On June 1, Andrew and I will once again become St. Baldrick’s Shavees.

This cause is very near to my heart. My family was impacted over a decade ago when my niece, Morgan was diagnosed with a neuroblastoma. With the help of amazing doctors and strong family support, Morgan fully recovered and is now a very healthy 14 year-old. My son also has a good friend, Matt, who in 2013 was also diagnosed with a neuroblastoma. Matt has been in treatment since that time.

Many families are affected by childhood cancer. Every two minutes another child is diagnosed with cancer. Your donation will fund the most promising research to give kids their best chance at long and healthy lives.
