My Story

Hi. My name is Ruben Correa. I'm 24 and attending Chicago City College.  I've survived ALL, twice, and a Stem Cell Transplant.  I thank my donor everyday for donating her stem cells so that one day she might help save someone's life.  Turned out to be mine. But my journey started with childhood cancer and I'm so appreciative to everyone who donates to St. Baldrick's so they can fund research that will someday find cures for childhood cancers.  Kudos to my dad who is shaving for the 7th year and has graduated to the "Knight of the Bald Table" level in the League of Legendary Heroes.

The Childhood Cancer Ripple Effect

Who's Honoring Me

Help kids take childhood back from cancer — support lifesaving cancer research today.

Children who are fighting or have fought cancer inspire others to be part of the Foundation's mission — to support the most promising research to find cures for childhood cancers and give survivors long and healthy lives.
