Tri to Cure Ewings

We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

While Ewing sarcoma is the second most common bone cancer, it is still very rare. It is diagnosed in only about 200 adolescents and young adults (AYA) every year in the United States. While the disease can be curable, many have extensive disease at the time of diagnosis or have a relapse after initial treatment which makes curative treatment much more difficult.Because this is such a rare disease and because it affects the AYA population, funding for research into this disease has been severely lacking. And yet it is only through research that we will be able to find a cure. We are raising money for Ewing sarcoma research so that better treatments and a cure for this disease can be found. We hope that the research funded through the St. Baldrick’s Foundation will lead to a cure for Noah as well as all the other adolescents and young adults struggling with this disease. Please see photos below for Sarina's fundraising plee as well.  Sarina and Felice will be competing in their first ever triathlon as they raise funds to Tri and Cure Ewing sarcoma.  What could possibly be more important than saving the life of a child? That’s what this fundraiser is all about: supporting childhood cancer research. Since the pandemic, donations are down sharply, which is a big deal since the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government supporter of childhood cancer research grants. Our fundraising has already supported amazing work with 2 of the biggest Ewing sarcoma researchers in the U.S. but we cannot stop now. Your donation will help find cures and give survivors the long and healthy lives they deserve. This is not just a tag line, this is the reality. As we have seen with COVID-19 as well as for other cancers like breast cancer and melanoma, when there is enough money, research and activism,  science can find vaccines and treatments. We want both for Ewing Sarcoma as soon as possible so other families will not have to endure this earth shattering heartbreak.   Can you help? Thank you!
