What could possibly be more important than saving the life of a child? That’s what this fundraiser is all about: supporting childhood cancer research. Since the pandemic, donations are down sharply, which is a big deal since the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is the largest non-government supporter of childhood cancer research grants. Gen Re will once again be making a corporate contribution to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation in the amount of $20,000, and we would love for all of you to help us match that amount and more, by making a donation. To help employees reach that goal, Gen Re has reinstated the Matching Gift Program until June 30th. The donation must be a minimum of $50, and each associate has a maximum match of $200 which qualify for the match and are able to donate over $200 without the match. In order to make the process as easy and streamlined as possible, we will run a report with details of all donations from our St. Baldrick’s Gen Re Employee Giving page, therefore you will not have to submit any forms or documentation for the match.
