Harrison Township, NJ Goes Gold

We helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Harrison Township, NJ is "Going Gold" for the 7th year in a row to help raise awareness about childhood cancer. It is important to understand the impact cancer has on children and their families and also how underfunded childhood cancer research is. I understand this is an unusual year and we can't hold another "celebrity" event like last year, where we raised $2,471. We will rely heavily on donations placed via this link to help us try and raise even half of what we were able to last year.

Did you know every 2 minutes a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and 1 in 5 of those in the U.S. will not survive? I refuse to accept this reality, so I’ve decided to organize a Do What You Want Fundraiser and rally others to fundraise for lifesaving research to find cures and better treatments.

If everyone in town donated just $1 we would pass our goal easily. Please consider donating no matter how small and sharing this link with others. Your donation can fund research to help kids survive and thrive. Join me today and let’s #DFYchildhoodCancers together.
