As we continue on our journey together to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer, we will continue to shed light on Luke’s Story. Like so many kids his age, whose childhood was overrun by countless dr appointments, scans, medications, and uphill battles, Luke’s journey continues to inspire us and give us hope for something better. Let us raise money for research to give our kids the chance to fight back against these illnesses. . Let us be their voice and their advocates against such a horrific disease that no child or family should have to fight unarmed and hopeless. We need to make this a priority. It can not and should not be fought alone or only by those so closely affected. It will take more than a few but an Army to make an impact and create a wave from a ripple. My husband Jimmy, my sister in law Mary and I will be raising funds and awareness by forming a relay team to compete in the Jamesville 1/2 Ironman on June 17, 2018 for kids like Luke whose battle ended too soon and so many others kids who are still enduring the fightl#LukesArmy
