Alright, alright, alright! Tom and Susan finished the United NYC Half Marathon on Sunday! Tom did fantastic for his first time out and Susan got a new personal best time for the half! If you have a few spare bucks to honor David, it would mean the world to our family!
Did you know that 175,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer each year? And in the U.S., one in five will not survive. David's Warriors is funding life saving research to CHANGE THIS FACT!
Our Hero Fund supports Dr. Forlenza at Sloan Kettering where he is examining a particular protein relevant to neuroblastoma.
David wanted to live. He was 10 when he died and would be 16 (and turn 17 on May 1).
Our friends - John and Donna will run with Tom and I in the UNITED NYC 1/2 MARATHON on March 19th! It will be Tom's very first one, my second and John and Donna are seasoned runners. We will run through Central Park and right into Times Square which was David's very favorite spot!
Additionally, David's birthday bike ride the NYC 5 BORO BIKE TOUR is a 40 mile tour of all 5 boros and our friends Elaine, Art and Dave are braving the ride this year in honor of David!
Some long, hard training sessions will happen before we push away from the START lines and yet none of our work will match the pain and suffering David endured. So we will show our grit and life how he did! #EmbraceLife
Please support us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Thank you for your continued generosity of David's Warriors!
