My Birthday Wish for my 14th birthday this year is instead of presents, I would like to ask for donations to St.Baldrick's in honor of my friend Abby.
Did you know that 300,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer each year? And in the U.S., one in five will not survive. I want to change that, so I'm raising money to find cures.
Because of a miracle from God Abby will get to enjoy her 11th birthday the same week I get to enjoy my 14th! Life is a beautiful gift!
Here is her story...I have known Abby since her birth. At the age of 4 Abby was diagnosed with (PH ALL) a rare type of childhood Leukemia. After lots of treatments she was healthy again… but just for a while. Abby relapsed again in September of 2014 just before her 8th birthday. In January 2015, Abby received a bone marrow transplant, but still continued to fight for her life. Abby has been fighting hard ever since and was told she was not going to make her 10th birthday. She is the strongest and bravest person I know. Right now we are continuing to celebrate the beautiful living miracle she is! I’m so happy I get to be a part of her life! We even now get to go to the same school together!!!
Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support Abby & these kids.
