Did you know that 300,000 kids are diagnosed with cancer each year? And in the U.S., one in five will not survive. I want to change that, so I'm raising money to find cures.
On March 17th, I'll run a marathon (26.2 grueling miles) on King George Island, part of the Shetland Islands in Antarctica. That may sound tough (and a little crazy), but it will only take a couple hours. Compare that to the months, if not years, of treatments that kids and teens have to go through after their diagnosis.
When I can run 26.2 miles in Antarctica, I can do it for a good cause. And you can help me raise money to research - and hopefully, ultimately cure - pediatric cancers.
