Kicking Childhood Cancer In The Can

Join us to have some fun – and be a hero for kids with cancer!

During the pandemic, kids were still being diagnosed with cancer, but donations to support research have been down drastically. We can change that – and save lives!

Please join us for our 6th annual event! (formerly Draft Picks Tackles Childhood Cancer)

The Can - Pepe's Cantina , Naperville
SAT , SEPTEMBER 17, 2022 from 2 - 5 pm

We are SO EXCITED to return as an outdoor/ tented event during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and halfway to St. Patricks Day !

We are again teaming up with the amazing owners of The Can Pepe's Cantina to hold an exciting event that will be bigger and better than last year!

We have raised just under $118,000 over the past 5 years, and that includes only an online event in 2020 due to Covid !! Join us to make this one of our best events yet and help us KICK CHILDHOOD CANCER IN THE CAN! We truly appreciate your support as the St. Baldrick's Foundation and kids fighting cancer need us more than ever!

While you can still expect some of our great festivities of a fantastic emcee and amazing raffle prizes, please note that the family friendly head shaving will be held outside,  rain or shine! The restaurant, bar, and outdoor patio will conveniently be located just a few steps away to enjoy.  (who doesn't love tacos and margaritas before, and /or after a new buzzcut ?!)

Start growing all that hair out to raise money for childhood cancer research . You can also raise money to cut your hair at our event. We accept donations of hair 8" or longer to make wigs for kids with cancer, so please reach out if you would like to learn more!!!

Please also like and follow our Facebook page at KICKING CHILDHOOD CANCER IN THE CAN as we share other event news and updates!

**We are also looking for several volunteers so please share our link or sign up as a volunteer **

We can help the biggest non-government funder of childhood cancer research grants do more to speed up the search for cures.

Whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer to raise money another way, or make a donation, please join us to give kids with cancer the long, healthy lives they deserve.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
