Last year, as Isaac was on his journey fighting brain cancer, a friend reached out to me and told me that her 6 year old son wanted to shave his head at a St. Baldrick's event in honor of Isaac. We were so touched, especially because this child had never even met Isaac before.
We went out to surprise my friend and her son at their event and it was there, that not only did Isaac make a lifelong friend in Nicky, but we witnessed for the first time how amazing a St. Baldrick's event is. The stories and amount of support were truly inspiring and we knew then that St. Baldrick's was definitely something that we would want to be involved in for many years to come.
Well, this year Isaac has his hair back and he is ready to shave his head to help honor and raise money to help fund research for childhood cancer. We were not expecting to host our own event, but then again...why not!! This is a completely new endeavor for us, but we know that with our amazing friends, family, and the support of Alley 64 that Team Isaac can hold a great event and help pay it forward!
Please feel free to join our team as a shavee or you can also show your support by making a donation, donating time that day to help shave heads, or just come out and cheer on Isaac and all of the others as they get shaved!
Since this is only our first year, we have a team goal of $1000.
