Event Details

Be a hero for kids with cancer! Sponsor me to run my first full marathon. I attended a St. Baldrick's head shaving event several months ago - I was too chicken to shave my head, but said that night I would find another means to raise money for this worthwhile charity. Now I have done some extra-long runs in training, it's looking like the head shaving would have been by far the easier option - a full marathon is a VERY LONG WAY! The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Proceeds from events in Hong Kong will be managed by the Children's Cancer Foundation to fund life saving research in Hong Kong. www.ccf.org.hk
