2013 Dewitt Just Irish Enough Parade & St. Baldrick's Fundraiser

DeWitt Community Center & Lincoln Park 11:00 a.m. - Registration 12:00 p.m. - Walking Parade 1:00 p.m. Shaving of the Heads Ceremony Event Details: Walking Parade, Shaving of Heads, Food Vendors, Bake Sale, Kid’s Activities, DJ Music, BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverages) and BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair) Fun for the whole family! Sport your favorite St. Patrick's Day Gear and/or purchase a Just Irish Enough T-shirt from a committee member! Decorate the kids bikes and scooters for the Irish themed walking parade. The “Shaving of the Heads” which is the official fundraiser for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation raises funds for children’s cancer research. This is your opportunity to be a hero for kids with cancer! We're having a St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement. The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. If you choose to support a participant or team at our event, your name will appear on their donor list. To support our event in general and appear on our event donor list, please click "Make a donation" to give online, or donate by phone or mail. Be a hero for kids with cancer!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
