It's time to thank ALL of you for your time, effort and resources! Together we have become quite the Bald Rocking Unit! The weather brought us all a little closer this year. It worked out! The cause, the people, the support............the kids... THIS/YOU are special. We will forever be connected by bald heads and giving hearts. Here's hoping kids' (all cancer) will be a thing of the past soon. Thank you!! Mark your calendars Rochester! Some dates to remember;April 27, 5-9pm at Roosters Too out on Maine, Matt Quiding St. Baldrick's fundraiser. May 10, 10:30am-8:00pm, eat at Potbelly, mention St. Baldrick's and they will donate 25% of your bill to St. Baldrick's! (our event) May 17, eat at Victoria's, mention St. Baldrick's and they will donate 25% of your bill to St. Baldrick's! (our event) Rochester's own Hanna Hughes will be joining us this year. She has a remarkable story to tell.......a REMARKABLE young woman to say the least. BeTheMatch will join us also to offer information on how to become a marrow donor and take a swab if you are so inclined. We have 4 tickets and on-field access during warmup from Minnesota United FC Soccer team to give away! Bingo, facepainting, FUN! come on out!! Be a hero for kids with cancer! Seventy-five kids on our Honored List. That is WAY too many! Join us Saturday, May 20. Brave the Shave! We need this list and cancer GONE! Please........... Come on down, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement! The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers! NOBODY deserves cancer.
