Bill and Joey's Excellent Shaving Adventure - The Next Decade

"Bill and Joey's Excellent Shaving Adventure - The Next Decade" kicks off April 3rd, 2017 at Connolly's on 45th in NYC, 5:00-9:00PM. NCAA Championship Viewing Party to follow. St. Baldrick’s is the world’s largest private fundraising organization raising monies and awareness for pediatric cancer research. Over the past 10 years thousands of friends, family and colleagues throughout the world have helped raise millions to help find a cure and we will be shedding our locks again on April 3rd to do our part. I have been bestowed the honor of Knight Commander of St. Baldrick’s for my 10 years of volunteerism. 10 years ago, our efforts started with a few individuals then working for NetApp, my 9 year old son and a few of his St Agnes teammates inspired many from there and what a journey it's been. Close to $7,000,000 raised directly in our campaign and we have helped St. Baldrick’s go from 17MILL at the time to over $234,000,000 raised since. Our next decade begins again with individuals and leaders throughout the tech industry stepping up and inspiring their colleagues, friends and family by shedding their locks to again raise money and awareness. Leaders from Fortinet, Bay Dynamics, NetApp, Looking Glass, Varonis, BMC, WebMD, RTP, Viewpoint, ServiceNow, Arrow, Simplivity, Carbon Black and more are playing their part of we are asking you to do yours. And heads up, St. Baldrick’s will be introducing a new campaign called Tech Tackles Cancer — a global initiative that unites tech companies worldwide to raise funds for childhood cancer research. Stay tuned! Brave the shave and join one of our teams or start your own as part of our campaign, make a donation, take a sponsorship and/or join us on April 3rd. Please contact me directly with any questions or further inquiries on sponsorship, or reach out to Tim ( ttolan@fortinet.com) or Maureen (Mquinn@fortinet.com) and they will be of great help. There will an NCAA Championship Viewing Party immediately following the event. Please take moment as well and pass this along to friends and colleagues who may enjoy getting involved.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
