Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

ABF Shave at Mac's

Be a hero for kids with cancer!  Each year in the US more than 15,000 kids

are diagnosed with cancer.  Globally nearly 250,000 are diagnosed annually.  Although the survival rate of some types of pediatric cancer has increased slightly in the last 40 years, the truth is far too many of our children are still being taken from us by this deadly disease.  What is needed is funding for more research and development of newer, more innovative, and less harmful treatments.  Sadly, even those children who do manage to survive cancer are often left with the devastating effects of harsh treatments that follow them throughout their lives.

The St. Baldrick's Foundation works tirelessly to raise the resources to fund research and development for better treatments and a cure for childhood cancer.  St. Baldrick's is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

We lost our precious Addison to a PNET brain tumor on February 14, 2015 at just 19 months old. It was and will always be the most devastating and life changing experience of our lives.  Our greatest wish is to help future generations so that someday no parents will have to bury their child to cancer.  We believe that by joining together we can and will make a difference!

Please join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate we hope you'll be a part of the excitement!  Get involved and you'll be giving hope to babies like Addison as well as children, teens and young adults who are fighting childhood cancers!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
