Find Us:

St. Baldrick’s Gretna

In December 2013, we became parents of a child with cancer.  Our world hit a brick wall.  As parents, we felt completely helpless because we knew that we physically couldn’t do anything to make our son better, except stay by his side every step of the way. Through this journey, we have seen the good, the bad, and the very ugly with our son and so many other families.  During this journey, my wife and I vowed that we would do what we can to see that one day no child and no family will go through what we and so many other families have gone through.

In 2014, our son was an honored kid at Finn McCool’s event in New Orleans.  We did our research on St. Baldrick’s, and we saw all the good the foundation does with all the money raised.  We continued supporting the event and I began shaving my head, with Daniel eventually following suit.  It didn’t take long for us to realize that this is how we wanted to help.  So last year we held our first event with the help of our close friends that we consider our family raising almost $30,000! Now, we are doing it again and we need your help reaching our goal!

Be a hero for kids with cancer!

Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement!

The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
