During KEGS on Thursday, March 21st students are invited to participate in a charity event called St. Baldrick's Day to support childhood cancer research. Because the treatment typically given to these youngsters causes their hair to fall out, volunteers shave their heads in public in return for pledges of financial support. Since its inception in 2000, St. Baldrick’s has raised more than $100M to benefit childhood cancer research! Please consider starting a team, becoming a “shavee” or donating to this great cause.
