Be a hero for kids with cancer! Join this St. Baldrick's event, and whether you decide to shave your head, volunteer, or donate, we hope you'll be a part of the excitement.I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! This is my 3rd year participating in St. Baldrick's I shaved my head in 2013 and 2014. Last year and this year i am organizing the event Do It For David. At the fundraiser we will be honoring David Sanchez who lost his battle to osteosarcoma in 2013. The experience i've had being involved in this organization is incredible. Last year we almost doubled our event goal of 3,000.00, we raised 5,837.00! The turnout was amazing and it was a great way to come together raising money for a great cause! Please help us conquer cancer and give the children, teens and young adults that battle it a chance to continue on their journey and find a cure once and for all! Thank you for your generosity and support! The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. This year again i will be honoring my good friend David Sanchez who lost his battle to Osteosarcoma December 3, 2013 at the young age of 23. David was a remarkable young man who had one of the most incredible personalities and vibrant spirits. He always had a smile on his face throughout his battle with cancer he never let it beat him. Even though he lost his battle  he never gave up the fight to survive and live. He was a younger brother figure to me and i feel blessed to have known him and have grown up with him.
