Event Details

 Virtual Event Agenda and Access Information
This year's event will be hosted 100% virtually on Wednesday 3/17 between 4:00pm and 5:00pm MST on the Google Meet platform using the following link: https://meet.google.com/hwt-oepq-zym  (found at the top of our event page too).

The agenda for the event will be as follows:
4:00pm -4:15pm: Welcome and Statements from the BHS St. Baldrick's Team
4:15pm-4:25pm: Speech from St. Baldrick's research grant recipient Dr. Amanda Winters, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Children's Hospital Colorado
4:25pm-4:45pm: Voices from our participants - an opportunity for this year's participants to speak to the impact that childhood cancer has had on their community and their reason for choosing to participate this year.
4:45pm-4:55pm: Recognition of top individual and team fundraisers and honoring individual participant milestones.
4:55-5pm: Closing remarks and slideshow of shavee pictures.

- Information about sharing photos/videos of head shaving moments.
As this is a virtual event this year, we will not be able to witness the magical moment when our shavees make the transformation to their new, beautiful bald selves. We would like to still document and share these moments so we ask that if you are shaving your head for this year's St. Baldrick's event please do so prior to 3/17 and upload your pictures and videos to the following public, shared folder. This will allow us to share these moments in a slideshow during the 3/17 event.

- T-Shirt order information
If you are signed up as a shavee or volunteer for the 2021 St. Baldrick's event AND you have raised at least $50, you will be able to have this year's T-shirt delivered to you. Lastly, I want to thank you all for your contributions and participation so far helping us recently crest the $52,000 mark, AMAZING. This money, combined with the funds raised from all the events around the world, is vital for continuing the mission of never having to lose another child to cancer again.  Remember that we still have over a week before our event so keep sending out and posting your page. Also, the BHS event remains open until the new event next year, so you are still able to collect donations after 3/17.
