Circle K

Circle K International is an intenational collegiate service organization that is a sponsored leadership program of Kiwanis International. It promotes service, leadership, and fellowship. It has over 13,000 members who are dedicated to serving children by aiding other organizations committed to serving children.

St. Baldrick's is CKI's newest Service Partner. The St. Baldrick's Foundation does one thing and they do it well: fund childhood cancer research. They take great care of funds raised by their generous volunteers and supporters to direct every possible dollar to carefully selected research grants. Whether it's through their signature head-shaving events, partnerships or advocacy initiatives, their primary focus is to have the greatest imapct for kids with cancer around the world.

St. Baldrick’s began as a head-shaving event and that continues to be the signature event of the Foundation. “Shavees℠” ask friends and family to make donations “on their head” and in return, they attend one of thousands of volunteer-organized events around the world where they have their heads shaved in solidarity with kids fighting cancer.

Since 2000 more than 390,000 shavees—including more than 49,000 women—have shaved their heads at 9,000 events, raising critical funds for childhood cancer research.

Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers!
