As Votre Vu was preparing to launch their new French Accents cosmetic line in June 2012, they saw the perfect opportunity to simultaneously “do good and do well.” They decided to support lifesaving childhood cancer research by donating one dollar to St. Baldrick’s from every French Accents product sold.

In the 16 months since that initial launch, Votre Vu has donated $45,000 to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, thanks to their Brand Ambassadors and the sale of special, limited edition products benefiting St. Baldrick’s such as:

  • French Kiss Moisture Riche Lipstick in a limited edition gold case (also available in special trio packs Hope and Brave, offering a discount and a $3 donation to St. Baldrick’s).
  • Holiday gift sets Snow Bunny and Oh Come Let Us Adorn Yeux which include a combination of limited edition products and a deep discount on the purchase price — AND a $3 donation to St. Baldrick’s.
  • Kiss and Tell gift pack, containing six of their 100% organic Champagne Kisses Lip Balm at a bargain price and a $6 donation to St. Baldrick’s — a great way to buy gifts for teachers, friends, and family while supporting kids with cancer!

Votre Vu’s Brand Ambassadors have also embraced the mission to cure childhood cancer, and promote the Color it Forward program to their customers. Top sellers are recognized with a donation to St. Baldrick’s in their name. In the seven donation ‘cycles’ since the program began, Monica Huseby has been a top seller five times, with Amanda Hines running a close second, as a four-time top seller!

Jude Rollins, a three-time top seller, arranged her own Do What You Want fundraiser for St. Baldrick’s. She arranged with several local businesses to donate raffle prizes and/or a portion of sales during a one-day shopping spree, raising almost $500 in her fundraiser.

Another Votre Vu Brand Ambassador, Beth Pai, was inspired to organize a St. Baldrick’s head-shaving event,  raising more than $1,500 at her Boerne, Texas, event.

Votre Vu founder Harold Zimmerman says that the moms of children with cancer inspire him to give back. “Every time I meet a mom affected by childhood cancer, I never fail to be amazed and humbled by her story…her strength…and her commitment to continue the fight. And every time, these encounters only serve to make me — and Votre Vu — more resolute in our support and commitment to the cause – and to Color it Forward!”

Votre Vu’s partnership and dedication to supporting the St. Baldrick’s Foundation is nothing less than inspiring. Shop their full French Accents product line to support their efforts, or contact Press@VotreVu.com to host a Color it Forward Soiree.
