Want to tap into your creativity to help fight childhood cancer in a whole new way? Whether you’re an experienced streamer or not, we want you!
With #GivingTuesday coming on November 30th, now is the perfect time to join Creators Conquer Kids’ Cancer to raise money for research to find cures.
St. Baldrick’s invites every kind of content creator imaginable — from Twitch streamers to YouTube creators and even those awesome people that make TikTok videos – to join our movement to #ConquerKidsCancer. We’re also proud to announce our new Discord server, St. Baldricks!
We asked Dan “INDIE” Long to answer a few questions. He’s the new Community Manager of Content Creation at St. Baldrick’s, and is here to help!
I’m new to this – Can you give me a few examples of what people can do?
There are so many things you can do! You can set up a fundraiser through our Tiltify link at tiltify.com/stbaldricks and that will give you all the details!
To raise money, you could run a live stream, talk about it in your YouTube or TikTok videos. You could SHAVE YOUR HEAD – or find your own way! Take the content you are currently making and bring St Baldrick’s into the conversation.
Is content creation brand new for St. Baldrick’s?
Content Creation for St. Baldrick’s is definitely not new, but we have really only scratched the surface on what can be done. There are so many talented individuals and groups out there making live content, creating videos, and making content for TikTok, Instagram, etc. and they have a huge impact on the world. That impact can definitely be positive especially when used for good.
What if I have questions?
Dan has been a partnered Twitch broadcaster for close to a decade and in that time, he’s worked with many different charities, raising money and making content for awareness.
He says, “I am honored to join the team at St. Baldrick’s and looking forward to working with amazing content creators from all over the world in our exciting new program, Creators Conquer Kids’ Cancer! St. Baldrick’s is making a huge difference in the lives of many families across the globe by funding lifesaving childhood cancer research and I am happy to be a part of it.”
