Rayanna Rose passed away at the age of 8 after receiving treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Memories flood in from every direction every day. Some of them bring smiles and laughter, but mostly they end with tears that you are no longer here with us.
Halloween came and went without our Supergirl, and we’re heading to Thanksgiving without my assistant chef, and then it will be your birthday. After that, we have to get through another Christmas without you.
The forward march of time just doesn’t get any easier. Grief continues to walk with us daily.
I pray we make a difference through St. Baldrick’s so that one day, another family will not have to be experiencing what we are.
Always loving you, Rayanna Rose.
