Phil, Joe, and Marty celebrate 14 years and $14 million for kids’ cancer research.

Thank you to the gentlemen of Brady’s Bartenders — Phil Grecu, Joe O’Dea, and Marty Loughman —  for helping to share the great news: $14 million raised to help cure childhood cancer.

This number holds another special meaning to this St. Baldrick’s team, as this will be the 14th anniversary of Jim Brady’s Restaurant and Bar event — the site of the very first ever St. Baldrick’s signature head-shaving event.

Joe, team captain of Brady’s Bartenders, has been participating since the beginning, and each year looks forward to going under the clippers to help Conquer Childhood Cancers. This year will be no different, as the team has already raised more than $1,700 and are preparing their hairy heads to be shaved alongside the more than 40 New York volunteers also willing to bare it all this Friday, March 15th.

A big thank you to Brady’s Bartenders and the entire St. Baldrick’s group that host the Jim Brady’s event each year! We couldn’t do it without volunteers like you. This Friday, we’ll be thinking back to remember where it all began!

Cheers to another 14 years of shaving heads to conquer kids’ cancer.

Get involved with St. Baldrick’s and make a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer.
