BALD RABBIS THANK DONORS AS HAIR REGROWS
KOPPEL AND LEVY STILL. VIE FOR THE LEAD. TEAM GOAL OF 10% OF #36RABBIS TOTAL MET AND EXCEEDED! 4 DONORS PURCHASE ISAAC BRYNJEGARD-BIALIK'S BEAUTIFUL ARTWORK. http://www.stbaldricks.org/fundraisers/mypage/408/2014 ALL TEAM MEMBERS REACH HER GOALS BY SHAVE. #36RABBIS BREAKS $600K MARK
One day at a CCAR (Reform Rabbis' Convention), we discovered that many of us tweeting about the conference, and re-tweeting each others' comments were actually all sitting together in the back row. Phyllis (@imabima) and Michael (@Abba_Sababa) Sommer have made us laugh, inspired us to think deeper, and, lately, made us cry as they share what they and their son, Superman Sam (http://supermansamuel.blogspot.com/) have gone through. We wish there was more that we could do. We can shave our heads, but only you can make this more than a gesture. You can donate money that will go to promoting research for children with cancer. Just as importantly, you can spread the word that not nearly enough is spent researching cancer in children, and that you think this should change. Make a donation; tweet, post, e-mail, and spread the word. Who knows, maybe together we can make Sam's legacy that less and less children will have to confront their mortality at such a young age. Thank you for your help. #rabbisinthebackrow Rabbi Jeff Brown (@RabbiJBrown) Rabbi Daniel Treiser (@RabbiTreiser) Rabbi Marci Bellows Lindeman (@moosh2) Rabbi Debra Kassoff (@DebraKassoff) Rabbi Michael Latz (@ShirTikvahRabbi) Rabbi David Widzer (@DSWidzer) Rabbi David Levy (@RabbiLevy) Rabbi Elisa Koppel (@rabbiisa) Rabbi Joel N. Abraham (@sholomrav) Honorary Team Member - Isaac Brynjegard-Bialik (@isaacb2) We have answered the call to be heroes! We've teamed up to have our heads shaved – to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures.

Please support us with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government.

Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when we ask for your support, we're really asking you to support these kids. Thank you!
