Women who are donating hair instead of shaving it offFollow

This is a team for the girls of St. Baldrick's! Although we aren't shaving our heads, we still want to make an impact in the lives of those with cancer. Through donating to our team, you are helping to raise awareness and improve the clinical outcomes of children with cancer. This organization funds necessary pediatric oncology research and is making a difference in how we view and treat many of the childhood cancers. Please donate to this cause as we donate our hair to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths campaign which will use our donations to help make wigs for cancer patients through the American Cancer Society. Although our 8 inch donation of hair will eventually grow back, we take this opportunity as medical students to see what a change treatment has in the life and self-image of a patient. We may never personally experience the difficulties that come with a cancer diagnosis, but we want to show our support for all the brave children and families who deal with such realities on a daily basis. Please join us as we try to reach our goal of $1000 and join in this fight against pediatric cancer.
