I've been bald many times in my life, mostly against my will. Diagnosed with bilateral Willms tumor when I was ten months old -- and again when I was three --, I've been through thirteen months of chemo, twelve rounds of radiation and six abdominal surgeries, resulting in the removal my entire right kidney and half of my left. But cancer could never take my spirit or my determination.
For the second time this year, I will shave my head for all the right reasons: to stand in solidarity with kids still in the fight, to raise necessary money for research and . . . to beat my brother's Team Braedan! Join me on March 11 at the Cleveland Heights Community Center and be a hero for kids with cancer!
