Celebrating 25 Years

St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.

Thanks for checking out this site! Jeremy was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 6. He still has another 16 months of treatment but is doing well, enjoying 2nd grade at the Gilmanton School, and has a very good prognosis. We see however that there is much needed in the fight against childhood cancer. St. Baldrick's raises funds so that pediatric cancer researchers can work towards finding less toxic treatments, as well as treatments that will increase the survival rates for children with all types of cancer.
Please consider making a tax-deductible donation by clicking "Make a donation" at the top left of this page to give online or you can also donate by mail or phone. In order to make the donation on behalf of Team Jeremy so that we can reach our goal, you must click the "Make a donation" button on this page. If you leave this page, you need to come back to it in order to make the donation for the Team Jeremy fund raising goal. You can make your donation on behalf of any child / all children fighting cancer as well as in memory of a specific child who has sadly lost the battle. You can read a profile of some of these children on the right of this site.
Before Jeremy was diagnosed, I was not aware that in the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease. Yet funding for pediatric cancer research is severely lacking. St. Baldrick's is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more for childhood cancer research grants than any other cancer funding organization. By donating, you will be helping St. Baldrick's support the vital research work that pediatric oncology researchers and clinicians need in order to improve cure rates and daily life for these children.
If you are able to make the event, it is awe inspiring and lots of fun with music, food, raffles, and more. The event will be held at the Gilford Community Center in Gilford, NH on June 4th, 2011 at 8:30 AM so if you can join us for supporting Team Jeremy's fundraising goal that would be great too. Thank you so much!
