Hello all, My name is Justin Losier and I'm a 2nd year med student at the University of Ottawa. Shave for a Cure has been a staple event in our program and I regretted not shaving last year. I want to help raise funds for childhood cancer research and support my fellow classmates doing the same. It's a great event and a wonderful cause. We are shaving our heads to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, who typically lose their hair during treatment. Worldwide, more than 160,000 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. The St. Baldrick's Foundation partners with organizations around the world to fund childhood cancer research. We must all do everything we can to give kids a better chance for a cure.
